Stage I - Chemical Dosing

To adjust the pH factor, we perform chemical pre-treatment. Then, we dose the raw water with chemicals before sending it to the aeration tanks. This process ensures rapid oxidation of dissolved iron.

Stage II- Online Aeration Type

We send chemically dosed water into a three-chamber aeration tank. Initially, water sprinkles through perforated pipes in the first chamber. Next, it travels through carefully designed vents into the remaining two chambers. This zig-zag motion increases oxygen contact, allowing dissolved iron to oxidize and form suspended iron particles.

8 Hours Storage Aeration Type

Alternatively, we pump chemically dosed water into a storage aeration tank, where it remains for 8–10 hours. During this time, natural oxidation converts dissolved iron into suspended iron particles.

The water containing suspended iron passes through the iron removal unit. The filter media rests on a gravel bed consisting of layered Manganese Dioxide, Activated Carbon 900 IV, graded quartz sand, fine sand, superfine white sand, and pebbles. This media effectively traps suspended iron particles and dirt.

 

Backwash

As filtration progresses, the filter bed accumulates particles, increasing pressure drop. When a predetermined pressure is reached, the system shuts down for backwashing. After cleaning, the media is rinsed with raw or treated water, and the filter returns to service.

The frontal piping system includes manual or automatic multi-port valves, butterfly valves, and conventional valves for easy operation and control.
