A Multi Grade Filter is a depth filter that combines coarse and fine media in a fixed proportion. This combination creates a filter bed with optimal pore dimensions, capturing both large and fine particles. When raw water enters the Multi Grade Filter, it passes through multiple layers of graded sand, fine sand, white sand, activated carbon, and pebbles. These layers work together to:

As filtration continues, the filter media gradually accumulates particles, causing a pressure increase across the system. Once the predetermined pressure drop is reached, the filter automatically stops for cleaning.
